What is Worldticketshop?

Worldticketshop is your reliable online ticket broker. We specialise in getting our customers tickets to very popular, sold out events. We provide an easy, secure and fast way to buy tickets online, and we have the tickets delivered to our customers all around the world by FedEx. Whether you need concert tickets, football tickets, rugby tickets, theatre tickets or opera tickets, Worldticketshop is your ticket to fun!

How can I contact Worldticketshop?

We aim to reply to our email within one or two days. Our friendly customer service can help you in English, German, Dutch and Spanish.

We are very confident in delivering you the tickets you have ordered on time. In the unlikely event we fail to provide you with the tickets of your choice in time for the event, we offer you a 120% refund!

Why is the price mentioned on the ticket different from the price I paid?

Since we are an intermediary and not a direct selling point, our prices often differ from the face value mentioned on the tickets. The extent to which the prices are higher depends on several factors. First of all, the degree of time and effort needed for us to be able to get the tickets affects the price. Prices are furthermore based on supply and demand. Very popular and therefore more difficult to get tickets will usually be more expensive than less popular tickets. 

Why is the category number mentioned on the ticket different from the category I have ordered?

We provide tickets to a lot of different events held at many different venues and arranged by many different organisations. This means that for different tickets, a lot of different ways of categorisation are used. In order to keep the information on our website uniform and clear, we only use two different categories. These may be different than the categories used by the organiser of the event, and thus the category specified on the ticket may also be different than the category you have ordered at our website. Our categorisation works as follows:

Category 1: The best tickets that we have available; these are excellent places with very good view.
Category 2: These tickets are cheaper, but these places are often more to the rear of the venue and will therefore not have as good a view as our category 1 tickets.

As soon as we do have exact information about for example the particular blocks we have tickets for, we update our website as soon as possible.

Do the prices of the tickets include shipment and taxes (VAT)?

There are no hidden costs at Worldticketshop.com. The prices listed on our website include all of our fees and VAT. When you place your order, the amount of money you will see also includes shipment, and this will be the full amount you will be required to pay.
Mind that the price is just for the ordered tickets; we do not offer packages that include travelling expenses and stay in a hotel!

If I order seated tickets, will they be next to each other?

We always try to get our clients tickets that are seated together. Since we are no direct selling point however, we can only guarantee 2 adjoining seats. We often do succeed in getting more seats together, though. Of course, chances that we will succeed in getting adjoining seats will be better when the number of seated tickets our customers would like to be together is in one order! Different orders that you would like to be seated together cannot be guaranteed at all!

Is it possible to request tickets with particular seat or row numbers?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to request certain seat or row numbers. Since we are an intermediary, it is not possible for us to know exactly what seat and row numbers we will have available long before the event takes place. We do guarantee 2 adjoining seats, and are often able to deliver more than 2 adjoining seats. General admittance and standing tickets usually depend on the order of entrance at the venue.

What is my order reference number?

When you place an order at our website, you will receive a confirmation email with an order reference number. If you contact us by email or phone, we will be able to help you a lot easier and faster if you mention the order reference number!

Are all the tickets I see listed on the website still available?

Yes, all the tickets you can select on our website are available, and we try to update the availability as often as possible. If tickets are sold out or cannot be delivered in time for the event, you will see this on the website, and you will not be able to select the tickets anymore. Please note that if you order tickets very close (less than 7 days) to the date of the event, it is wisest to contact us as soon as possible to arrange the best way of delivery.

Tickets to my favourite event are not listed on the website. What can I do?

If tickets to your favourite event are not listed on our website, you are very welcome to contact us with a request for these tickets. We will try to also include your favourite event tickets on our website!

How do I know that it is safe to place an order?

We guarantee our customers an absolutely secure connection. This means that when you buy tickets, the online credit card transaction is safe and your personal information cannot be accessed by others. When you buy tickets, you can recognise that you are buying through a secure connection by the additional ‘s’ after the ‘http’. Our security software is always up to date and is being checked continually. Your credit card number, name and address will only be used by us to complete your order,  not for any other purposes.

What payment options do I have?

We prefer payment by credit card. Any of the following major credit cards can be used:

* VISA,
* MasterCard. 

Our preference for credit card payments is due to the fact that a bank transfer takes longer to complete; for credit card payments we can thus better assure the availability of the tickets to our clients. We only allow bank transfers for large orders. How will I recognise the charge on my credit card statement?

The charge for the tickets you have ordered will appear on your credit card statement as ‘worldticketshop’.

Selling Tickets

How can I sell tickets?

Select the ‘Sell your tickets’ tab at the top of the screen and fill in the details. We will let you know if we are interested as soon as possible! You can also offer us tickets by calling our customer service.

Delivery of Tickets

How will the tickets be delivered?

Usually, our tickets will be sent by FedEx or DHL, but in special cases a different method of delivery is used. Any deviation from our usual method of delivery is only to ensure our customers will receive the tickets on time. Sometimes we will opt for Royal Mail Special Delivery and in rare cases we even arrange personal delivery or pick up of the tickets at no additional cost. Any method of delivery involves time and work on our behalf in organising it, so customers are not entitled to a refund of the shipment costs, regardless of what method of delivery Worldticketshop decides is best.

When can I expect to receive the tickets?

We are usually able to send tickets long before the event takes place. However, to a degree we are dependent on third parties and suppliers. The following times of delivery are therefore to be considered approximations.

For most tickets, our aim is to send them at least 10 days prior to the event.
Most sports tickets are sent 5-7 days prior to the event.
Due to security reasons, football tickets are usually delivered 1-2 days before the match.

Please note that in case you need to travel to the place of the event, it is advisable to provide us with a hotel address in time. It is most convenient and easy to process for us if you send us the hotel address details by email.

What if there are only a few days left until the date of the event and I haven't received the tickets yet?

If there are less then 7 days in between the date of ordering and the event, please contact us to arrange the best way of delivery. Due to unforeseen circumstances, tickets that have been ordered earlier will sometimes also be delivered later than 10 days prior to the event.
Needless to say, we will always deliver in time for the event, and we will send out the tickets as soon as we receive them from our suppliers. However, if you haven’t received tickets 48 hours prior to the event, it is wisest to send us an email with a request for delivery information, or to call us during office hours.

Why have I been asked for a hotel address?

We have a lot of international customers. A lot of people are therefore travelling in the week leading up to the event. To make sure you will get the tickets, we often prefer sending tickets to a hotel address when there are less than seven days left before the event takes place. If you will be travelling to the event as well, it would be wise to also let us know your hotel address as soon as you have booked a hotel. Please inform the hotel of the fact that you are expecting an envelope, so they will accept it for you. We will need the following information:

* Name of the person who booked the hotel
* Check-in date
* Hotel name
* Hotel address
* Phone number of the hotel

Refund Policy

Can I cancel my order?

Once you place an order, it cannot be cancelled anymore. We have to maintain a strict policy in this respect, since as soon as we receive your order, we will start the procedure to get you these tickets as soon as possible. Please make sure you really want the tickets before placing an order.

Can I get a refund for my tickets?

If we make a mistake and fail to get you the right tickets in time, you will of course be refunded; you will even receive a 120% refund! Since it will take time and effort to get our customers the tickets they want, tickets can not be refunded when we provide you with the right tickets or when the mistake of providing you with the right tickets is not ours.

Can I get a refund if the event is cancelled?

Yes, if an event is cancelled and not rescheduled, you will be refunded the face value price of the tickets. In the unlikely event that you do not receive an email from us notifying you of the cancellation and the steps that have to be taken to get the refund, please contact us as soon as possible.
If the event is rescheduled, the ticket will be valid for the rescheduled date. If you have problems with the date and time on which the event is rescheduled, this is regrettably not our responsibility and outside of our sphere of influence.

Can I get new tickets if my tickets have been lost, damaged or stolen?

Tickets are only printed once and can not be replaced if they get lost, damaged or stolen. Please handle the tickets with great care and keep them somewhere safe.
