Röyksopp consists of two people, Torbjörn Brundtland and Svein Berge, who have been experimenting with electronic music together since the early 90s. They are from Tromso, Norway, but have by now conquered the world with their electropop! Even leading computer brand ‘Apple’ have noticed Röyksopp, and have used their song “Eple” (Norwegian for ‘apple’) in their commercials. Röyksopp immediately drew attention with their debut album ‘Melody A.M.’ in 2001, and have since released ‘The Understanding’ in 2005, and two separate albums, ‘Junior / Senior’ in 2009. ‘Junior’ is an upbeat, energetic album, while ‘Senior’ is its more more withdrawn, atmospheric counterpart. Röyksopp have described ‘Junior’ as having a “spring feel” to it, while ‘Senior’ can be described as having an “autumn mood”.
