Room Eleven is a Dutch band formed in 2001 by lead singer Janne Schra. She originally posted a note at the music college message board asking for a collaborator to write songs. Arriën Molema who plays the guitar responded. The name Room Eleven was the location of the initial meeting place. The other members of the group include Tony Roe on the keyboard, Lucas Dols on bass and Maarten Molema on drums. The first Room Eleven concert was in 2004 at the cultural street market known as Uitmarkt in Amsterdam. The debut album for Room Eleven was released in 2006 and re-released in 2007 with additional material. The album is a mixture of studio recording with some live performances of songs such as Greenest Grass, Sad Song and Come Closer.
