Queen Tickets
Throughout the 1970s, 80s and 90s, Queen have absolutely reigned in the world of music. They have broken virtually every existing record in the music industry, having sold over 300 million albums worldwide, boasting most people to have attended their concerts, selling more concert tickets than any other band and having altogether spent a stunning 27 years in the UK albums chart. The Queen album ‘Greatest Hits’ is the biggest selling album of all time. The tragic loss of charismatic lead singer Freddy Mercury, whose distinctive voice, experimental song writing and theatrical style have made him one of the most influential rock artists in history did not dim the popularity of this sovereign band; Queen still rules millions of fans worldwide. Queen Tour
The last live performance of Queen in its original setup took place in 1986, but the remaining Queen members are not ready to retire and have continued to work on many projects since. Original Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor are still part of Queen today, and are still touring regularly, usually doing a tour of the formula Queen + (artist). They collaborate with various talented artists, an example of which is the successful Queen tour with Paul Rodgers in 2005 in support of Nelson Mandela’s AIDS awareness campaign; the proceeds from selling Queen concert tickets going to AIDS research. Queen will never hire anyone to officially replace Freddy Mercury as lead singer of the band, but the Queen + Paul Rodgers combination was felt to be successful enough to be taken into the studio. Soon, there will be a new Queen tour, this time featuring new material recorded with Paul Rodgers. Don’t miss your chance to see this legendary band live and get Queen concert tickets or Queen + Paul Rodgers concert tickets at Worldticketshop.com - Your Ticket to Fun!
