Here and Now is a British band with its roots in progressive, psychedelic and space rock. The band was co-founded by its drummer Kif Kif Ke Batter in 1974. The band became famous for their jamming. Here and Now believed in creating music ‘in the moment’ and hence they have never rehearsed anything before performing at a concert or anywhere else for that matter. Here and Now concerts would always be a part of free concerts or festivals and therefore Here and Now tickets were never a concern for their fans. Tickets never had to be bought. The band also believed in never compromising on the moment by capturing their compositions by way of sound recordings. Here and Now Tour

Here and Now have come a long way since they started. The years between 1975 and 1977 defined the musical character of the band with the coming together of Kif Kif on the vocals and drums, Twink on synthesizers, Steff on vocals and guitar and Keith the Bass on bass guitar. Here and Now also worked with Gilli Smyth and Daevid Allen of the band Gong and together they released an album called ‘Floating Anarchy 1977’ and a single called ‘Opium for the People’. Keith and Steff still remain as Here and Now and are joined by Steve Cassidy on drums and Joie Hinton on keyboards. So what does this year have in store for the band?
